Luke, Kinsey, and I took a weedend trip to Medora to watch the Medora Musical. We stopped on the way and expalined to Kinsey what the Badlands are. It was super fun & very hot outside! I also discovered something new about my sister... she loves to hike trails like me! So now Luke and I are thinking of making a trip with Kinsey to go hiking in the Badlands (when it cools down a little).

Kinsey and I simply HAD to match and wear our Inspiration Point Bible Camp theme shirt from 2006. The theme that year was Way Out West. Although I diddn't work there that summer, Kinsey has picked out a theme shirt for me every year since! She is super sweet, and she 'gets it' about how much we love camp!!!

Kinsey was fascinated by the making of salt water taffy.
My family fun & crazy? You bet! Or...maybe it was all the rock candy Kinsey had!

We raced to the top...almost tied, but Kinsey won on the way up and we tied on the way down!
The sunset was beautiful just before the musical began.
Luke and Kinsey absolutely love swimming! They had fun finding pennies at the bottom of the pool and timing themselves how long it took to find all of them. It was sweet that we had the pool to ourselves.
On the way home we stopped by this enormous cow... I mean Holstein. Yes there were some jokes about the name and who was a better 'whole Steen'... Luke or the cow?
Kinsey & I... yes we are matching again...this time it was this year's camp shirt. The theme was 'The Great Reversal, an upsidedown life'... if you are a bit curious about that amazing place visit www.ipoint.org
And of course the 'Steens'
Luke also recently started a new job in Garrison and has had some beautiful morning drives. He took some pics of this rainbow with his phone. This was a very unexpected and unplanned job change and we decided to take the opportunity. We will eventually move there. When we think about it, the outdoor things we can do around the state park and lake there actually fit us quite a bit. We are excited for this change that we never would have expected and are looking forward to how God will teach us and grow in us in the future there!
We are also blessed to share our exciting news that we are expecting our first baby on March 28, 2010! Yes we are a bit excited and already bought a crib ;) It is amazing how the wonder and miracle of life shines new light to how I see the world already.
